Did you ever wonder what life was like for a soldier in the Civil War? Come find out the hard way as Troop 835 travels back in time to eat, sleep and train for battle at Pamplin Historical Park in Petersburg VA. We have space available and are opening this trip up to interested Webelos and parents from Orange District.

Please read the details below and let me know if you are interested in marching for the blue or grey by Wednesday February 1st.

Troop 835 will be “locking in” at the Triangle Rock Club in Morrisville on Saturday February 4th, and we are inviting local Webelos and their parent or guardian to come join the fun. We will be going to Triangle Rock Club in Morrisville at about 9PM on Saturday. Scouts and parents will be instructed and tested on proper belay technique and then the climbing begins.

We will have the place to ourselves until 7AM on Sunday.
We’ll climb until we can't climb any more, refuel on pizza, then sleep on the floor.

Our winter session for the Occoneechee Council Orange District Merit Badge Pow Wow will be sponsored by the American Legion Chapel Hill Post 6 and will be held at 1714 Legion Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27517 on both Saturday, February 18th and Sunday, February 19th.
